As Much As I E'er Could was wonderful YA contemporary romance that revolved around CJ grieving loss of female parent and sister in blow. It was nearly getting over loss, giving 2nd chance to life and love, learning to dear yourself over again, accepting the reality than running away, forgiveness, friendship, family, and racing.

Writing was smooth, gripping, and emotive. Loved the setting of Edisto Isle, community, and Memaw'south ocean themed business firm and its description. It made me desire to pack my things and move in with her for whole summer. At that place was everything one want in YA contemporary. There was drama, family issues, friendship, car racing, rivalry, teenage angst, romance, misunderstanding, and development.

Every bit Much Every bit I Ever Could is a book filled with emotion, one that deals with heavy topics well. I roughshod for the characters and all they had been through, crossing my fingers and hoping for the best. I acknowledge to seeing some of the aspects coming – there were certain things yous knew would play out considering the characters and what they had been through – and I do experience the romance developed a scrap too quickly, but this wasn't enough to lessen my enjoyment. I was hooked, I devoured it, and I'm certainly curious to see what else the author has to offering.

All in all, Equally Much As I Ever Could has me eager to read more Brandy Woods Snow.

I loved this book.

First of all, I adored CJ. She was very likeable and even with her trauma, she still manages to exist a strong woman.

Then, Jett, oh my, what a heartthrob. I think I fell in beloved with him too. He might be your typical mysterious guy, but his softer side is refreshing and cute.

I would accept liked to hear Jett's bespeak of view, just because I savor romance books more when y'all hear both the man and woman's betoken of views, merely it didn't detract from the story or the book as a whole.

I liked that the book showed a good for you human relationship with boundaries that were respected by both parties. I remember it'southward a really of import time for romance books to comprehend what a fulfilling and adept relationship is rather than promoting the more toxic sides and romanticising things that shouldn't necessarily be happening in relationships. I recollect information technology'due south even more important in teenage/immature adult romance.

I would definitely recommend this book to teenage/ young developed readers and enthusiasts.

Bo, Gin, Em, and Trent are great. They were mature and were such an integral role of the story. CJ's dad had some work to do, simply he pulled through. Memaw gets the award for coolest grandma ever. I absolutely adored this book. I love YA contemporary genres, and this book striking the spot. The setting was a embankment boondocks during the summer, with cute boys, new friendships, and a guarded main character. All ingredients for an crawly YA novel.

I was drawn into this volume from the beginning, and merely kept caring more and more than for these characters as I read.

CJ, our primary character, is guarded, and dealing with things that most people don't have to. She'due south handling things the only manner she knows how, but needs some assist working through things and moving on. Her character grows so much throughout this book. We encounter her actually start to heal and put herself back together with the help of some other badass characters. There'due south a moment towards the stop of the book where it seems that CJ is reverting back into her beat of numbness, merely she comes out stronger, which I am glad to see.

Jett is the handsome dearest interest. He has some bug of his ain to work out, and is also a bit guarded, so him and CJ aid each other permit their walls down.

Memaw is probably my favorite graphic symbol in the whole book. She is such a free-spirited, spunky graphic symbol that keeps it real, and I only hope I can be as cool every bit her when I go older.

There are also, many great side characters that help to button the story forth, including Gin and Bo, siblings who are calorie-free hearted and loveable. And Rachel, who is on Jett'due south racing team and stirs up so much trouble. 🙄

This book is one of healing and growth, and is so wholesome. It as well shows you lot that it's okay to ask for aid and to lean on other people when you need to.

I definitely recommend this book.

As MUCH Equally I EVER COULD is a Southern novel that reminds me of the bang-up Sarah Dessen. You know, a lazy beach town, summer, and of form, romance. I love that CJ fights for what she wants, pushing through obstacles and whatnot. A potent female person protagonist, she is.

The racing elements of the story combined with CJ's fear of driving add a special flavor to the story.

Her eye is always in the right identify, and even when she'due south making tough decisions that hurt herself and others, she ever means well and think she'south doing what is best for them.

CJ and Jett's relationship is so sweet! Although I wouldn't necessarily telephone call it a tedious-burn, it develops nicely and what feels like realistically. They're a not bad friction match for each other (obviously), and it was interesting to see how Jett'southward life exterior of CJ was comprised and played out throughout the book. I know information technology seems similar it shouldn't be a big deal, just 1 of the moments in the book that I was glad to read was when Jett explicitly asked CJ for consent before they had sexual practice. This book isn't graphic near it at all, but still it was overnice to read it explicitly laid out on the text. Yous'd be surprised how many books don't mention it, or some that have fifty-fifty given the impression that request for consent isn't of import, since you should just know that accept come up across as extremely problematic to me, so needless to say I commend Brandy for including it! Overall, Jett was such a great guy, and very emotionally intelligent, which make for a smashing love interest and an even better book.

I would've liked to see a bit more than graphic symbol development from 1 of Jett's racing teammates, Rachel. I didn't like her -- at all. Simply I suppose that adds to the realism of the book, since some people just really suck, and we never go to see their redemption arc. Sometimes I think it's improve that way.

Memaw, Gin, and Bo are great additions to the bandage of characters. They're all then nice and supportive, even though some of their personalities couldn't be more dissimilar. CJ's dad likewise has a big transformation throughout the book, fifty-fifty though we don't learn nigh information technology until closer to the finish.

I also love how detailed the cover is! At that place are some nods to plot points and a few moments in the volume, especially CJ and Jett's first meeting that I couldn't appreciate until I finished the book! (I also read it on my Kindle, so I wasn't staring at the cover all the time.)

Overall, I really enjoyed this read. I've been reading a lot of new adult lately, so it was and then much fun to jump dorsum into YA! Large thanks to Brandy for the review copy. If you want to read your own, As Much As I Ever Could volition be released by Filles Vertes Publishing on May 26!

I'chiliad very grateful for receiving an eARC of this book. This did not affect my review. Brandy Wood Snowfall earned these v stars because of the amazing story she created.

CJ is the master character of As Much As I E'er Could. After she survived the machine accident that killed her female parent and sister, CJ hasn't been able to get backside the steering wheel again and drive a car. She has been drowning in guilt and pushing away everybody around her. When her therapist suggested going away for a while, CJ'southward begetter was happy to oblige and transport her off to her grandmother in Edisto.

The moment CJ arrives in Edisto, she immediately gets acquainted with Gin, Bo and Jett. Against her expectations, the wall around CJ begins to crumble, especially when she's effectually the hot racing champion Jett Ramsey. Jett starts helping CJ to become her driving once more and as they abound closer, Jett becomes distracted. Just being distracted on the racing excursion is dangerous...

I've never been this hooked on a contemporary book without whatever fantasy elements. The emotional rollercoaster. Damn. This book made me laugh, experience wholesome and even cry like a baby. The characters have so much depth and information technology's actually hard to not feel for them. They have been through a lot and those events shaped a lot of their traits. That made them existent and easy to connect to.

Read this book. Yous won't regret it. It simply takes a few hours and information technology's definitely worth it. I usually prefer fantasy, but the emotional rollercoaster of As Much As I Ever Could was and then intense that it made me feel more than a lot of fantasy books.

This volume was and so, so hard for me to rank. The writing, prose, and vocalization were all incredible and I had really really high hopes with the opening but a combination of the pacing and me currently grieving for what this book could have been force me to requite a lower rating. As Much As I Ever Could has some really sweet scenes and slap-up messages about grief and moving on (and at that place were definitely a handful of individual lines that I'm obsessed with) but I was so convinced this was a Wattpad book only copy and pasted to print that I just spent 30 minutes googing to try and find out if that was the case.

I'm not insulting Wattpad books because I read mode to much Wattpad for that so let me explain. Most Wattpad stories are 'write as you go'. You develop a chief plot, but you're not going to captivate readers if they have to become through months of a fourth dimension of relationship development and then y'all accept to blitz a relationship starting. By the fourth dimension you have a large audience, yous're done with the pain plot and the couple is already madly in love then you have to proceed bicycle through writing in a conflict then dissolving it a few chapters afterwards. It works in serial format, just it doesn't work in a novel. This volume'due south honey interest savage caput over heals way as well quickly (before the halfway point). From at that place on out, the volume felt similar it was needlessly being stretched out. When you've declared yourselves each other's soulmates there are only and then many "oopsies miscommunication now we're in a fight" scenes you can write and resolve without losing an audience.

A satisfying summertime romance set up in picturesque Edisto--a pocket-size beach town--what could exist better than that?

He drops CJ off at a minor grocery store in Edisto, South Carolina, where she'll be staying with her Memaw for the summer.

While waiting for her ride, CJ meets locals Jen and Bo and hot guy Jett. Although instantly attracted to Jett, CJ is less inclined when she finds out he'southward a hot shot driver destined for NASCAR.

Jett has his ain problems, only with CJ's friendship, he begins to open up and bargain with bug. Both characters help each other which is a fresh look at YA romance. CJ is no princess waiting to be saved. She is much stronger than she is vulnerable. Fifty-fifty in moments she seems weak, at that place is an underlying forcefulness. Teen readers and romance readers need more stories where women are portrayed as strong even if they announced broken,

Edisto is a compelling setting in that it sets upwards for the perfect beach read. Throw this novel into your beach handbag and hitting the embankment. Information technology has all the summer vibes necessary for a smoldering romance that is hard to resist.

Perfect for anyone who loves a minor town romance or readers who love tales of the Southward and fast cars!

Recommended grade ix and upwards and for all romance fans.

I read the first chapter of Equally Much As I Ever Could whilst I had some free time before heading out for a few hours and male child was I frustrated well-nigh having to put it downwardly. There were parts that made me express mirth, some that made me want to cry and others that had me yearning for the kind of relationship CJ and Jett had. In that location's some amazing secondary characters - anybody needs a Memaw in their life, and there'south also one character you'll dislike right from the start moment of meeting her - every good romance needs a villain, right? I kept having to tell myself not to rush ahead whilst reading because even though I wanted to find out if CJ and Jett would final past the summertime, I too didn't desire to miss a single matter that happened between this couple. Brandy Woods Snow is a new author to me and I'm looking forrard to following her journey towards success!

I am seriously pleased with this book. The characters are very real and dealing with some heavy stuff as best they can and even the supporting characters have an arc. The issues are realistic, and the lessons are hard, but there are no heroes and damsels in distress. Through soul searching, talking to loved ones and therapists, and taking real responsibility, each character does a fiddling growing and makes the positive changes in their own lives, and I loved that.

When I chose this book, I did non realize it was set in S Carolina, at the beach - the place where I spent then much fourth dimension over the summers as a child besides. But the author'due south descriptions of the smells and sounds, the atmospheric condition and the way sand gets everywhere, and the lovely houses on stilts that hateful vacation-habitation to me made me yearn for my summertime time childhood.

Finally, I know this is the writer'southward second book, but on the sentence level, she blew me away more than a few times. Every so oftentimes, she included merely the right expressive verb, just the perfect simile for how a character felt, or the exact right corporeality of details for a small facial or hand gesture so I could see it perfectly in my listen. Each time, I was kicked out of the narrative to requite a niggling mental kudos.

I was offered a free copy of the ebook by the author in substitution for an honest review, but I would have bought this book anyway. It fills a hole in my classroom library - and then many of my male students asked about racing books and so many of my female person student asked nearly romances that were also suspenseful or action-packed. This will exist a not bad addition.

Opinions: In my honest stance, Snow had a keen concept only did not pursue its total potential. Everything was perfectly okay, giving me just enough to hang on to merely non enough to fully appreciate the story, character development, or themes. I was touched past CJ'southward perseverance and evident growth as she learned to be honest with herself and people trying to aid her - I learned quite a bit from our protagonist who has suffered more than than most at that age but handled it far better that I could've imagined! Despite my adoration of CJ, I was unable to comprehend the romance between she and Jett. While I sympathise the concept of the volume is 'true beloved will observe its way', these are even so teenagers who make decisions based on emotion. If CJ sees a threat (Jett'south high speed driving), she wouldn't run towards it no thing how cute - she would run away due to the lasting guilt and PTSD she hasn't stopped talking about. Granted, considering these are teenagers who make decisions based on emotion, perhaps CJ did encounter the beautiful thing and give in. Either way, I believe As Much As I Ever Could is a thrilling, vivid story well-nigh coming of age and learning how your heart works. It wasn't for me, only information technology is certainly for somebody! There's no doubt that this is a fantastic volume.

I received this book equally an arc from the author only that in no mode affects my opinion.

I truly loved this book. It was so fluffy and cute simply dealt with a very tough topic that is sometimes difficult to convey in a novel.

CJ is dealing with the loss of her mom and younger sister, this causes a rift between her and her father and what causes her to move to her memaws house for the summer. There she meets new friend, finds love and gets over her fear of driving all while learning to take what happened

As someone who lost someone only a few months agone I empathize the grief CJ is facing and all of the what if's she thinks.

Although this book deals with a series topic it even so manages to exist a fun and beautiful coming of historic period story about your first love. The but thing I find not bad but overdone in books is the classic I need think well-nigh myself before a human relationship and a few weeks after they end upwardly dating someone. Even though it'southward overdone information technology doesn't make any difference to me.

I truly love this book and am wanting to read more of the authors books.
